Here are some picture of a Dragonfly 800 Mark II (not a swing wing) with a self-tacking jib (11m²) and a 1m bowsprit with genaker/cruising chute (48m²). The seltacking jib is ideal for single-handed sailing specially tacking in tight areas.
The owner, Olaf Tiedtke, says he has done over 17knots downwind at 6 Beaufort and 14-15knots reaching at 5 Beaufort. |
[Wie Du siehst habe ich eine Selbstwendefock von 11 m², mit der man fantastisch in engem Fahrwasser Aufkreuzen kann.
Ferner fahre ich einen 48m² Gennaker mit Rollanlage an einem 1 Meter langen Bugspriet.
Nur unter dem Gennaker habe ich vorm Wind bei 6 Windstärken über 17 Knoten fahrt auf dem Log gehabt und auf Halbwindkursen liege ich bei 5 Windstärken bei 14-15 Knoten.
Diese Segelkombination ist für mich als Einhandsegler optimal.] |
