Unfolded ( 6.75m)Folding . . .Folded! ( 3.1m)
The Swing Wing system allows the boat to be folded - or unfolded - with the aid of the winch by one person in approximatively 2 minutes. The boat offers still great stability in the folded condition and no antifouling is needed on the amas. The Dragonfly trimaran can be fendered and moored like a conventional yacht but with greater stability when walking on it!

The changes - compared to the standard DF 920 - are as follows:
Mast: + 1.5 m, total 14.5 m carbon section
Mainsail: + 10 m²
Genoa: + 2.5 m²
Asymmetric: + 20 m²
Light-wind genoa: + 7 to 18 m²
Bowsprit: + 0.35 m
Mainsail boom: + 0.50 m (aft)
Weight (hopefully): less 100 kgs
Beam: + 1 m
Float: + 30 cm longer - meaning it is 20 cm longer in the front, so that it now lines up with the centre hull, when it is folded out. It is 10 cm longer in the back, so we have enough room for the backstay to clear the higher wing
Length, folded: + 0.6 m
Rudder/Centerboard: Lighter rudder and centreboard in carbon re-enforced high-tech composite
