First there was 920
Then 920R (racing) -- with longer boom
And then 920E (extrem) with wider new beams (and longer mast)

Are there any other models?

On my old 800 it was possible to trim the mainsail clew position on the boom. There was a outhaul. A tackle in the boom stretching the foot of the sail. On the 920 the position can be moved - but there is no outhaul.

Is this a odd thing on my boat? Or have you added an outhaul?

Got time to do the work this winter. Got all out but the one from toilet to tank. Found the strap and cut it. But the tub is still stuck. There is a piece of metal holding the tubes for some cables on the side of the tank. Did you remove that too?

There are one inlet from toilet, and two outlets one in the front storage and one via a handpump direct out.

Fund that a part of the problem was the regulator. So I installed a new MPPT regulator. And now I have all panels in serie - so the old one together with a soft one on the cabin roof works almost ok. That is the nice thing with MPPT - put all panels in serie to get a high voltage ( I get up to 50v) ...

How to find the cable? Does it go over the toilet? Can it be spliced anywhere? Is there a better way to do the replacement?

Seen a number of photos of boats with solar cells on amas. How have you done the wiring? In to the beam? It has to work both folded and sailing. And how to get from beam to central hull? Photos and ideas would be appreciated.

I bought a longer pin. So long that I could attach a string to it. Then it is quite easy to retrieve the pin from the that front space.

It seems better to stand on the the side of the boat - at least when testing the pin before putting the boat in water.

The problem is just to stand on the side...

Is there a better way to reach to the pin, holding the forstay? We usually have one person "crawling" in to the front storage. He has to be on back and working with hands over head, without the the possibility to see where the pin shall be.

How do you reach this pin?

Hi The mast-foot looks backwards to me, but I only had a 800, and on those the wheels leading ropes are in the aft. Just one wheel? Main sail, foresail, spinnaker and ref makes 4 to me. Had a bad connection for my VHF, it was possible to listen but not to send. Those errors can be hard to find.

GPS gives you a true course. Use that.
The magnetic is nice for reference, but not very exact.
You could easily make a "deviationstabell" by just writing down true and magnetic values for all courses.

According to pictures it looks like the DF1000 has triangular nets in front, front of front beam. Has anyone mounted triangular nets in front on a DF920?

Will the safety wire be strong enough? And the mounts? Which modifications has to be done?

Sounds like your problem is with the sheavers turning the lines from going down from the mast foot to horisontal in the trunk. I have opened the trunk on a DF800 - and it is not much space there. So if you can figure out where - fold!

As long the rope is not broken in a bad place it easy to replace it - just get a new one and sew them together and pull through.

Yes, Stockholm is perfect for DF's. We got rocks, things in the water other boats break when they get in contact with, sailing a DF - it is just to unfold the centerboard and sail on. It is a dangerous place for those with regular, non-folding centerbords.
