My recollection is that there were only two versions of 920 - think "racing" wasn't something marketed by Quorning as a separate model. I think owners themselves probably added some sporty equipment and designated their boat as "racing". 920 is the only Dragonfly where "extr...

Hey John, the memories fade but I think there was a white nylon rectangular bar attached to the board that straddled the width of the trunk and prevented the downhaul line from sliding between the board and the trunk.

I wanted the Net-sys dyneema nets, but just don’t have the skills/time to saw/lash/design the perimeter properly. ATN makes a finished product in the right dimensions/geometry, ready to install.

The single best safety upgrade I think.

Here it looks like attaching a bridle to the ama and main hull bows and towing it over the stearn could right it at sea. And this was the water has the clear escape path from the cabin.

Great idea about the second rope! This way it will also give the signal that the first one broke (when the rudder slips aft)! Thanks Mika! One-off rudder? Just higher aspect ratio or something else? I am thinking about that. What diameter Dyneema do you use? Do you use thimbles and splicing to preserve breaking strength or just oversized rope? At least on the 35 it goes through a 90-degree bend in the pipe and would rub against it (no way to have a block there). I guess the pipe is smooth enoug...

I got a couple splintered strands in the cable that connects the rudder itself to the downhaul line. There is a diagram in the printed boat manual. It is fairly straightforward with the lines in red and green. There is a hole at the corner of the board. Fort Lauderdale -- neighbor! Can't answer directly, because I haven't, but also would chip in that you don't need it. The inside space is simply not big enough to spend a lot of time there. Having said that, the heater system works pretty well, so the ducts are there, no reason one can't put A/C in.
