Hi Rolf
No problem at all.
Welcome to join our FB group "Svenska Flerskrovsvänner" mostly in Swedish but growing more and more international and with many Dragonfly sailor-members. Possibly you can pick up tips and inspiration and no problem at all to ask or post in English.
Cheers!

Hi Rolf, That's correct no boom vang since it's rarely needed. In such a fast tri you never go deep downwind and the speed bends the apparent wind forward. A good setting could be on max upwind you put the traveler in the middle and take home the sheet hard. When turning to reaching you always start...

Hi Rolf, I have the same furler and it's quite clever. In your jib luff there should be a thin release line for the quick release. Attach this to the thin cable attached to the hook in the top part. Then you attach your gennaker halyard to a open hook and this to the schackel at the top part's outsi...

Hi,
From the stern and following the keel there's a heavy duty hose with woven cover laying below the floor in the center hull of my boat. It seems to be originally installed by the yard - does anyone know what it is/for what purpose it's there?

My guess is that if you lift a DF in the bow (centre hull) it'll be top heavy and turn mast down. I Think best way with a crane available is: 1. Lift the boat from centre bow to release the mast top from the bottom. 2. Separate and save the rig from the boat first. 3. Fold one ama and pull/roll the ...

You can do a lot with an active rotation trim - increasing sail depth in light upwind for more power by rotating more and bending the battens and the opposite in strong wind.

Hi Phil,
Always nice with bearings for smooth handling - you should find sheaves for the mast foot easily, changing on roof top is a larger (and more expensive) operation. If not already done I recommend to start with changing to new round dynema lines and blocks in the reefing points.

Next sails I'd go for is a larger gennaker of 95-100 m2 and a smaller self-tacking jib (hardwear kit needed can be bought from Dragonfly Sverige) for strong wind or easy handling while cruising.

I disagree, a stay in line with the mast/boat center doesn't support much sideway load. Also most gear on cruising boats are substancially oversized. I think the higher loads are mainly due to the trimaran's higher righting moment sideways. If you talk forestay/furlers trimarans haven't got higher righting moment fore/aft rather less due to no lead/lower weight so on this stay the loads should be lower than on a lead sailer.
