Running Backstays
Hi All
Does anyone know the wire size for the lower part of the running backstays? The part from the quicklink to the amas?

i appear to have 8mm for the main stay and 6mm for the lower stay - is that correct?

Going through the Solent chop we have the same creeping and banging noises from the front mainly on the forward starboard aka. Our pins on both forward akas move upwards as well. Like you I am concerned on occasio...

There is a seriously odd looking plate of square tubing under the amas deck that supports the connecting bolt to the aka. http://www.dragonfly-trimarans.org/images800/ama_s.jpg Please click on the photo to see it enlarged! Questions: 1: is...

Sailing downwind
Any tips on mainsail trim upwind and downwind (traveller, leach tension etc) in all wind ranged
Plus up wind in stronger winds? Been told to dump the traveller but maintain leech tension (via tell tales) before reefing
Any trim tips very welcome!

Amas moving side to side
All
Noticed that the port amas moves 10mm side to side.
The nuts holding the amas to the arm are very tight but there is a 10mm gap on the inside edge. Therefore the arm does not sit flat on the plastic friction pad; the amas toes in
Any thoughts?

Amas folding Line
All
new owner!
Where does the endless folding line that folds the amas attach itself to the amas? Plus: the XAS is slipping that holds the line, is this an east removal job?
All the best
