Sprayhood safety rail

Post by Mika Harju »

This kind of safety rail makes life easier on board, especially when sailing single handled. It is much easier to move quickly when there is a rigid rail to hold on. With these dimensions it is still possible to operate the sprayhood and cockpit tent.

Nice set up!
But your boom dosen't hit that?
Mine would, fully sheeted in, with the dodger up only clears it by an inch or two.
Could be in the cut of the sails.

There is enough room for boom, almoust 100mm when tacking.
