I am looking after bigger headsail (Code0 or Drifter or ?) to speed up my DF1000R especially when the wind is really light e.g. less than 5m/s. It should be a flying sail, size about 40 m^2 and easy to handle even single handed.
Now I would like to get more information about these:
-1- Type of furler, Facnor FX might be the right one?
( http://www.facnor.com/uk/news/news/fich ... rochur.pdf )
-2- Size of the sail?
-3- Type of the sail?
-4- What is the right length of bowsprit?
-5- How to install bowsprit to DF1000?
-6- Is it possible to use the existing genoa car for the sheet together with Genoa barbehauler system or do I need to make new one? Where? How? Is genoa barbehauler system strong enough for this purpose?
-7-Anything else?
