Half the center hull is stripped..... temps have been in the high 30'sC/90'sF and wearing coveralls gloves, head wrap, boots and a respirator is only "fun" for a few hours......
Here we go, two clean layers of paint. (Not an anti fouling as it will be trailer sailed).......A buff and wax on the topsides and all of it back on the trailer.
Power wash for the deck, and on to the mast raising system. (Done in my head, can't wait to put it in practice....)
Paint done, topsides done, reg numbers on. A few days for the paint to harden and then everything on the trailer...... Mast raising is next. Plan is for a system that will raise the mast on the trailer. I know a few people are waiting for me to produce..... soon!
Ted, I just keep plugging away at it. It still needs a lot of work, but I'm trying to get it to where I can sail for a while first...... Then I can determine where I need new holes and what holes to fill lol......
Everything back on the trailer! Now for the deck and cabin.
Leaky windows, all sorts of severely outdated electronics with corroded connections, multiple layers of peeling/flaking paint = strip 'er down, fill the holes and start over......
