VERY SLOOWWW User Forum

Post by Bo Wetzel »

Some of you must have noticed the long waits when accessing this forum.
I've been onto the hosting company complaining about the slowness of their server. :(

Here is the latest reply from them which might give rise to hope for improvement in the near future. Let's hope so!
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. I have checked your Web site: http://dragonfly-trimarans.org/phpBB/index.php and I was able to duplicate your issue. We have experiencing some issues with our MySQL server. Our highest levels of management are engaged and working with all teams to get the issue resolved. Once the issue resolved, you will be able to access your Web site pages without any issue.

It appears to me that the User Forum is running at normal speed now.

Any feedback on this would be appreciated.

Hey Bo,

whatever you did to fix the forum also fixed the login issue in Firefox. I can now successfully login in Firefox, although auto login still does not work...

Auto login with Firefox

Post by Bo Wetzel »

I've just tried it and it works for me.

I'm running Firefox version 2.00.13 under Windows XP professional.

To make Auto Login work you'll have to allow cookies on your computer.
