I'd like to see a Dragonfly DF800 in Jersey (or Scotland)

Post by adrian »

I'd like to see a Dragonfly DF800 as I am considering moving from a long keel boat and rather like the look and sound of the Dragonfly.

As I live in Edinburgh I have scanned the member's list but cannot see any based in Scotland. However I am visiting Jersey over the weekend of 12 to 15 June and see that Daniel D'Orleans has a Dragonfly that he keeps in Bel Croute Bay. Is is possible for me to have a look at his Dragonfly whilst I am in Jersey?

Alternatively is there anyone else with one within a couple of hours of Edinburgh?

Hi Adrian,
I have a Df 1000 at Port Edgar which you are most welcome to examine. It's a bit bigger and slower than a Df 800 but the principle is the same. It's out of the water for a week or so while some fibreglass repairs are being carried out. Email me on m.s.paterson@btinternet.com if you are interested.

Adrian,
MY pc has failed (miserably) so I've lost your address for arranging a sail. Please drop me another email.
