I have a small crack in an ama that needs to be repaired on my 94' 800, and want to make sure I am using the right materials. I was told by someone that the boat was constructed with vinylester resin, which is hard to get, and apparently hard to work with. I found on a site somwhere that it was actually constructed with a polyester resin which is much easier to find. My question is if anyone has done any repairs, what materials did you use?
Thanks,
DanT

Great place to start.
There is a big difference between structural and cosmetic repairs.
If your talking about fixing what you sent me pictures of - that is a structural repair - you may want to consult someone about that.
