Loose nuts on folding hinge

Post by buckle.roger »

Ok this MAY be clear to you guys but I have only owned a Df for one year and it is a big learning curve from other boats.
~So I have just found that 50% on the bolts holding the folding hinges were loose on all 4 corners.

I dont know if there is a recomendation to tighten these but I would say go out and do so if you have not checked them this year.

Ahhh the joys of maintenance! That is why it is called maintenance and not repairing.
I make it a point, every year before the boat goes back in the water to tighten all nuts and screws. It is always a surprise on what came loose over the past season.
