Hi again,
Just learning the ropes. Been out and broken two battenboxes and one batten (no 4 from top). Maybee if a batten can reach a shroud it should not be in carbon?
Now I'm thinking of the danger signs. What signs are there that show me the end is near but capsize will NOT happen.
And what signs are there that if I see them then I can expect to crash, over forward
or traditional capsize to leeward.
And is it possible to stuff and almost stop but recover?

I think all boats will behave differently. Some boats have more volume in their ammas than others. But I do know that all the ammas on the older boats have enough volume to support the entire boat by a wide margin.
I have had mine almost covered - especially through waves - with no effect.
But again, the best prevention is to reef for the gusts. If you do that you will always be playing it safe.
