Swing Wing Lubrication

Post by Mal »

What do others use to lubricate where the beams pivot on the circular tracks on the float decks?

I've always used 'Sailcote' teflon spray, but have run out. Not sure it was brilliant? Now can hear juddering from bearing surfaces as floats are wound back in. DF manual suggests using wax. What wax? Or something better?

I just use a pressure washer.

I've never used anything on the sliding surfaces. I just keep them clean, but we do get a lot of rain...

I agree with Steve, never used anything - they are made out of teflon.
Keep them clean, that's all.
