Lazyjacks

My boat was rigged in the US by UK sails, not at the factory by Elvstrom. So the lazy jack lines just came at the foot of the mast and were hooked to the spreader turnbuckles.
Today I tried to rig a one line system leading to the cockpit, using a free jamcleat on the boom. Pictures below. Is this roughly how your lazyjacks are rigged?
