Ama rubbing strake/trim

Post by andycrawford »

Does anyone know where you can source the grey rubbing plastic/rubber rubbing strake which is fitted over the top of the hull/deck joint (upstand) around the top of each of the ama's. My boat is a 920 but I am sure it is fitted on most of the other models. I have tried to source through the U.K dealer but not getting anywhere quickly. I could go to the yard but it may be a lot quicker if I could source from the manufacturer or a specialist supplier. Hope someone can help

i can now answer my own question! The best place to get the rubbing strake is from the factory, not too expensive EU 10/m + shipping. Sold by the metre or for an entire hull. Quorning source the material from a manufacturer in Denmark, hence it seems best to go direct to them.
