Setting up swing wings

Post by saillikeawinner »

Hi everyone. Setting up my new DF800 I realise I don’t know how to rig the continuous line to haul out the wings. Any help / photos very welcome.
Thanks

Hi Jim, I have some pictures to explain it. But I don´t know, how to load up here.
You have to start at the middle of the float to clip it in the eye next the hatch. After that to the block at the mainhull from the side to forward. Then to the block into the cockpit. you arrive in the middle part of the upper blocks, where you have the line for inhaul and outhaul. Go back on the outside. Then to the block in front of the cleat under it and then through the cleat. Then around the block behind the cleat again outside the cockpit. You arrive at the aka. Inside the doubbleblock inside the aka, first the lower, then to the block at the middle end of the aka and again through the upper part of the double block inside. after that through the hole in the middle part of the aka. Fix the end outside with a knot and pull the line inside the cockpit.

Good luck

Frank

Thank you very much for your reply. I’m happy to say it’s rigged and she’s sailing! Cheers
