Jib halyard interference

Post by haneth »

I have a new to me Dragonfly 28 (2010). Just about have replaced enough items to be ready for a sail. I noticed the jib halyard comes out of the mast and rubs on the upper diamond jumper stay. The jib halyard will rub on one tack as it’s exists the mast below the jumper stay but the furler/forestay exits the mast above the jumper stay. How to prevent the jib halyard from getting sawn in two?
