Hi Tilman,
Unfortunately i only read this now. How did it go?
I could have scanned the papers for you, but it did not help for us. We registered our trailer last autumn in Kiel (import from denmark), but we had to go the "Einzelabnahme" route. Which was a lot of work (and some money..).

I have an additional manual in english which came with our boat. It gives a lot of good information and i have not seen it online before, so i scanned it for everybody. I hope linking it here will be ok @Bo? I would also be happy if you host it here. https://github.com/gzahl/svala/raw/master/Dragonf...

@PerPedersen: Do you know, how much power you can expect from it on average? Is shading a big problem in that position? @Steve B.: i meant the average power. Yes, it draws more power if it is on, but depending on the configured temperature difference to the outside temperature, it only turns on for ...

Thanks for the answer. Of course i already did all of the theoretical calculations, estimated the solar input and so on. The small compressor refrigerators need about 5-10W, so about 12-24Ah/day or 0.5-1A. I was more looking for some actual experience of someone, who is running such a system on a DF...

Solar panels positions & power
I am thinking on installing a solar system on my DF 800 SW. I does not need to be completely autonomous, but it would still be nice. We don't need a lot of power - if it could power the refrigerator it would be enough. Where do you have solar modules installed? Are they fixed or do you only install ...

Re: Trailer Technical Certification
My Brenderup 1605QB trailer failed its technical inspection in Germany due to lack of paperwork to brakes, weight, etc. Does anyone of you have such a trailer running on German papers? This would be a real time saver:-) Hello, In order to get papers for your trailer you have to do an examination by...

Hi, I would be interested in helping to sail from denmark to scotland. I am 27 years old and have a few years in experience in sailing (Formula18, x79, x34 among others). Unfortunately my only multi hull experience is on a 18 foot catamaran. So i have no dragonfly experience. If you are still intere...
