Also when sailing upwind with center board down the starboard side of the centerboard box, near the floor of main cabin, is moving. That is what have generated the cracks. I want to repair i...

Hi Mika, I want to install this winter chinesse EVA LiFePo4 batteries in my DF1000. Also the 280Ah model. Was thinking to install a Daly Chinesse BMS. I have heard that is necessary to limit the current from alternator to avoid it to overhead, due that LiFePo4 batteries have less internal resistance...

DIY Anchor's chain Box
I have make an anchor's chain box. The anchor box is near the anchor, this way I don't need to carry the chain from the bow, and attach it to the anchor every time that I need to anchor. I have 10 meters chain and about 90 meters of rope. The idea is to keep the rope in the bow inside a bag and leav...

Boom topping lift
In my DF1000 the boom topping lift is simple rope from end of boom to top of mast and from there to a carabiner at end of boom. With to much wind is not easy sometimes to fix or remove the carabiner to the boom. Most of sailing vessel have usually a more elaborate system: End of boom to top of mast,...

Sorry I have misunderstood you. I was talking about boom outhauling arrangement, ie. how to move the boom left-right direction. See red rope in attached PDF. Anyhow I do not have any main sail outhauling system. I have removed the boom aft end fitting completely because it is useless. I have...

The bolt that join the ama with the aka is already removed. The bolt was soldered in the underside to the U Bar and was also soldered in the top side as can see on the picture. In the top side you need to remove the circular teflon part, is only fixed with 4 rivets. The top side soldering can be cut...
