Supports for dry winter storage DF35

It is recommended that the DF35 is supported at the water stays for dry winter storage. I can have a frame built to the dimensions of a trailer (a drawing has been kindly provided by the yard).
However, I do not have the actual shape of the (wooden) support blocks that touch the hull (w/ carpet). I note a step change in the hull at the water stays.
Does anyone happen to have dimensions of the wooden blocks that fit the DF35 hull at the water stays? I can then prepare these ahead of the lift out.

Secondly, what are the practices of covering the boat when outside during the winter? (tarpaulin?)
Thanks

I have a DF1000, but the shape needed is similar.
Several years ago, I replaced the blocks on my original cradle.
I used 4"x4" blocks about a foot long and rounded the tops.
I then attached some short nap carpet with integral padding.
Works great.

Where do we buy those rubber shapes? Do they absorb water?

It does not absorb water. It is dock buffer and sold by a local dealer in Finland. You should find it closer :D
