Does anyone know the make of the roller furler system on the DF35. My upper swivel jams when you least want it to and trying to see if a replacement is cheaper that a refurbishment.

You probably figured this out I hope.
It's a Facnor RS165. At least mine is.

I have' had the same problem at the end of last season. I was looking to replace the upper swivel, but the curent furler is 11 years old and the rigger I talk to has doubts about the Facnor system. Replacing it with something else, is proofing complicated.

How did you fix your furler? did you end up replacing it?

I replaced my upper swivel at 10 years with another Facnor unit. If you want to change the brand, you’ll need to replace the lower unit and the foil, remove the forestay etc.....
