Got a bunch of old camera tripods over. So I took a piece of teak and mounted in on the tripod.

then I got a perfect: Wine glass stand for uneven ground!
Tried it last weekend and it was really useful. It is usually tricky to find a place to put the glass when grilling dinner.
So if you got this problem, take a tripod!
